Dr. Ashley Yip

Biography

Dr. Yip opened her practice in Nanaimo in 2023 after realizing the great need for rheumatology services on Vancouver Island.

Dr. Yip has subspecialty expertise in using musculoskeletal ultrasound to help diagnose and treat rheumatic disease. She completed advanced certifications in both Canada (Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society) and Europe (European League Against Rheumatism).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Yip is a competitive triathlete. She has raced all distances, from sprint to Ironman, for 15 years.
