Dr. Ashley Yip

Dr. Yip established Nanaimo Rheumatology in 2023 to address the growing need for specialized rheumatology care in Nanaimo.

She has expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound, which she uses to improve the diagnosis and management of rheumatic diseases. Dr. Yip completed certification in ultrasound in Canada and Europe, reflecting her commitment to high-quality, modern care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Yip is a competitive triathlete and has been racing all distances—from sprint to Ironman—for over 15 years.
